Equipped with a dual-band, dual-chain (2×2 MIMO) radio, the wAP ax ensures a fast and reliable connection across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz spectrums. It not only offers impressive speed gains — up to 90% faster on 2.4 GHz and 40% faster on 5 GHz — but also enhances security and energy efficiency with support for OWE, WPA3-PSK, and WPA3-EAP encryption, along with management frame protection against common network attacks.

For larger areas with multiple access points, the seamless fast transition roaming feature allows connected devices to automatically switch to the strongest signal without interruption.

Powered by a dual-core ARM CPU and RouterOS v7, the wAP ax ensures smooth performance, strong VPN capabilities, and easy centralized management through the latest CAPsMAN system. It includes two Gigabit Ethernet ports, with PoE-in support for flexible powering options, as well as a standard DC jack for added convenience.

Its stealthy and vandal-resistant design allows the wAP ax to blend seamlessly into any setting. The mounting system is secure and discreet, with cable routing from inside the unit to maintain a clean and tamper-proof installation.
